New Year – New Adventures for you in 2019?

Tour Driver/Guide required for Adventures around Scotland.

If you are proud to be part of Scotland’s culture, enjoy meeting new people, are willing to be the life and soul of the group, like the idea of sharing your passion for Scotland with others, can tell a good tale, want to embrace the outdoors and like driving, then, this may be the opportunity for you.

MacBackpackers is a proudly Scottish multi-award-winning independent backpackers tour company for young independent travellers. Based in Edinburgh we lead groups of up to 29 people in our small coaches on adventures around the Highlands lasting from 3 to 7 days and we are looking for new like-minded tour driver/guides to showcase the best of what Scotland has to offer.

We can offer one of the most competitive salaries in the industry, full training, bonuses,  2-day Outdoor Emergency 1st Aid Course, a couple of t-shirts, a hoodie and….

One of the most amazing and rewarding job experiences you could hope for!!

Local knowledge and history would be advantageous, but not essential as full training will be given and what we really want is someone who is entertaining and has a personality! The position will require you to study and prove you can make it as one of our guides as you will be responsible for ensuring customers’ expectations are fulfilled. You will need to hold a full UK car licence and be willing to work towards passing your Cat D bus licence if you do not already hold one. All training is paid.

This position is open to both male and female applicants with a reasonable level of fitness as you will be climbing hills in the Highlands.

For further details and to apply for the position, please email info@macbackpackers.com with an up-to-date CV and a short covering letter telling us why you think you’re suitable for this position and what your favourite travel experience was.
