Setting out from Edinburgh we begin our adventure into the Highlands of Scotland in search of Nessie! Passing Stirling and on to Doune Castle we explore Scotland's violent past, taking in the epic scenery of Rannoch Moor and the haunting beauty of Glencoe where you'll hear the stories that moulded the Scottish identity, of blood and betrayal, of Clans and Kings. - With plenty time to stop and enjoy it!
Rock up on the banks of the famous Loch Ness and get to monster hunting with a 1 hour cruise on the Loch (optional £14pp). Feeling brave? Dip a toe, leg or go for a full plunge in the deep waters of the Loch!
You'll be spending the night at The Lochside Hostel, the only hostel with direct access to the Loch, and your own private beach! Jaw the evening away as the sun sets over the Loch with your new found friends.

Day 2 finds us heading north up Loch Ness in search of more stories as we head towards Culloden with its infamous battlefield and the really old Bronze Age Clava Cairns! Turning our attention South we head through the Cairngorms National Park, the largest in the UK, towards The Hermitage and the ancient village of Dunkeld. Before crossing the iconic Forth Road Bridge to Edinburgh to say some fond farewells.
