3 Day Loch Ness & Skye

After a 3 year break... our favourite quick stop tour of the Highlands and Skye is back!
Jump aboard our monster tour! Crammed with excitement and adventure, you won’t waste a single second as we wander through forests, explore the ancient Cairns of Clava and the haunting battlefield of Culloden before we descend down for a monster night on the shores of Loch Ness. Our hostel is right on the shores of this majestic Loch where you'll get the opportunity to search for the elusive Nessie and take in the fantastic views across the Loch, possibly with a whisky in your hand! On day 2, we'll venture into the magical Isle of Skye where we search for faeries, eternal youth and discover the stunning scenery of the Cuillin mountains, Trotternish peninsula and Duntulm.

Departing every Wednesday this Summer, you'll arrive back into Edinburgh on Friday, just in time for a wild weekend in the capital city!

Amazing Loch Ness, the fantastic Highlands and exploring Scotland’s mysterious Isle of Skye. Your guide will show the best!
Day 1
Departing from Edinburgh we set out on our adventure to explore the wild Highlands of Scotland. Travelling across the Highland Divide you will learn of heroic and ferocious clans, stopping for a woodland walk, before travelling on towards Pitlochry. From here we'll venture through Cairngorm National Park to Culloden battlefield and Clava Cairns before we go in search of Nessie, the legendary monster that lurks beneath the deep waters of Loch Ness. Our hostel for the night is situated right on the shores of the loch with stunning views of the water.

Day 2
Departing Loch Ness, we drive through the beautiful Glenshiel on our way to the Misty Isle of Skye, taking in the views of Eilean Donan Castle and the dramatic Scottish mountains.
We'll then explore the Isle of Skye where you will learn all about the mischievous faeries, hear tales of Celtic myths and see some of the most amazing scenery our country has to offer. We head up to the Trotternish Peninsula for a lovely hike and amazing views in this unspoilt wilderness. We'll finish off the day with a trip to the North and the beautiful Duntulm before heading to the wee village of Kyleakin to spend the night on this magical island.

Day 3
We say goodbye to the Misty Isle and head south taking in views of the Nevis range and Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis. We’ll discover the haunting beauty of Glen Coe and hear tales of clan massacres, the likes of which inspired George R.R. Martin's "Game of Thrones" series, before arriving back into Edinburgh around 5-6pm.
